Endless Search by Ahaduzzaman M. Ali

Ahaduzzaman M. Ali
ENDLESS SEARCH

I have come here today
To find you out,
I have spent the entire day
To look for you.
Through the dense foliage,
In the lapping water of the pond,
Near the bend of the way,
I have tried to look for you.
All my efforts meet with failure.
The green foliage, the winding way
Keep you hidden.
There is blazing brightness all around,
Still I am unlucky as the eyeless.
This is an unusually bright darkness
In which you have taken refuge;
My endless search never reaches that depth.
