Endlessly Lost by Rex Tan

Rex Tan
endlessly lost

again, I’m at a loss

lost in the rain

lost in the chain of burnt cigarettes

lost in the lines of empty verses

lost in the torn pages of calendars

lost at the day’s end

only to remember — there’s still tomorrow

Rex Tan is a journalist by trade and a poet at heart. As a Malaysian, he is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Malay yet calls none his first language.
