WHISPERS
Here, this morning,
where faces are aglow like soft sun-rays,
sit beside me,
for an eternity, or so.
Musings twirl like autumn winds.
Tell me,
of stories,
in which strong girls strive,
of cities, where love deafens hate
of battles, that are won
vows that were never torn.
Tell me,
the storm will pass
and we will survive,
sunflowers will bloom
out of our bosom.
