By Anasuya Bhar
In quiet
You and I have not laid our
Eyes, on each other
For days, months, now
You and I have changed,
Both to the world, and
To us, unknown.
.
Conversation
Two glasses
Sit in eager anticipation
Two chairs
Sit in mute expectation.
Twinkling lights
Empty tables, slow music
Dusk,
All wait for us –
Now drifted,
Now apart.
