“YOU AND I”

When You said, “This is your real home”
I start making a "home sweet home"
When You said, "I fulfilled every desire of yours"
I spend the whole day thinking when I last made a wish
When You said, "Stop working...sit at home...I will handle everything"
I wonder, "When you’ll give me a penny to spend"
When You said, "You are living the best life"
I think, "If it's the best then what will be the worst"
You said, " Neither do you participate in household tasks nor do you talk to anyone "
And when I try to do something, you stopped me because they don't like change
You said, "You have to go and spend time with them"
I think, "They are living in the past"...
I am struggling to find a connection between Your talk and behaviour
I slowly feel misplaced and am shutting down myself...
At night, I wonder when loneliness had learned to live within me...
Somewhere beneath the tears, a voice rises, "I am still here my dear you need time to recover"
