Elixir of Life
Water—
You remember every thirst.
In cracked villages
You vanish into dust,
While in anger
You return as flood.
I have seen hands
Walk miles for a drop,
And hearts divided
At the edge of a well.
Now pipes arrive—
Yet old wounds echo.
Still, you flow
Beyond caste, beyond borders—
A silent truth:
We survive in you,
Or not at all.
