NO ACCOUNTING FOR TASTE
There’s no accounting for taste
and in my haste
to attempt to complete
a sweet and savoury tax return
I made a mistake
and ruined my chances of a rebate.
In future I will employ
a taste accountant
who will check the receipts
of everything I eat
in any gastronomic year.
