CAMELLIA
Columns stand on columns,
the high arch flares light
like white torchfire
illuminates the marble hill,
you transform the enclosure,
you filigree clear sleeves
of imagined air
to gather camellias
the winter sky emptied,
bled in ashes on the snow.
