Apertures by Jenny Middleton

From Public Domain
a brick wall
broken by ivy
sky shimmies

spilled grass seed
grows on garage shelves
escapees

drum and bass
echo in the breeze
cold glass throbs

a fern roots
near a rose’s mulch
sharing keys

sheltering
from wintery rain
pulse rates sync
